Lajos Kossuth memorial
From the green heart of Budapest, we continue to the political centre of Hungary, Lajos Kossuth Square in the 5th district. Here, sitting in splendour on the Danube, is the impressive parliament building. The Palace of Justice, built in the Eclectic Style, is also located here. You will be impressed by the majestic architecture of this historic square, whose buildings also house a number of works of art. Also in this district, not far from the square is the Great Synagogue, also known as the Dohány Street Synagogue.
Philosophers' Garden
The Philosophers' Garden is a hidden gem in the heart of Budapest, inviting you to pause and reflect. In this peaceful park you will find statues of famous thinkers from different cultures and eras, including Buddha, Jesus and Laozi.
Clark Adam Square
From Clark Adam Square, you can cross the famous Chain Bridge. This iconic bridge connects the districts of Buda and Pest and is the city's symbol of unity. The square itself is a major traffic intersection and offers an amazing view of the bridge and the Danube. The winding road leading up to Buda Castle also starts here.
Fisherman's Bastion

Saint Gellért Square

The square itself is located right next to Liberty Bridge and is a busy hub dominated by the imposing statue of Saint Gellért.
Heroes' Square

City Park Budapest
City Park, also known as Városliget, is a large park offering a host of leisure facilities. Here you will find the zoo, the Széchenyi Thermal Baths, an amusement park and an idyllic lake which is transformed into an ice rink in the winter months. The park is the perfect spot to take a break, enjoy nature and explore the many attractions.
